Welcome to the very first edition of Analog Weekly ! I saw your DMs and replies and I know how much you all missed the weekly analog activities and updates, so I’m trying out this new format!
Each week (or so), I’ll bring you curated trends, reflections, and ideas on analog wellness, and how it helps us stay focused, connected, and alive in an increasingly digital world.
But first… what exactly is analog wellness?
What is Analog Wellness?
According to the Global Wellness Institute, analog wellness is “a movement toward experiences that enhance human connection, presence, and physical engagement — without screens.” Think: journaling, walking meetings, live events, handwritten notes, long dinners, and eye contact.
But at Analog Social, we define analog wellness simply as:
How to stay human in a digitally saturated world.
We believe your environment is the #1 determinant of your success and holistic well-being. And if you're a solo founder, creator, or innovator — you need other ambitious humans around you. Not more DMs. Not more doomscrolling.
🔦 This Week in Analog Wellness
Each week, we’ll highlight one trend, brand, or idea reshaping the analog wellness landscape.
Trend of the Week: The Rise of Dumb Phones
From Light Phone to Punkt, people are ditching distractions for simplicity. A growing number of Gen Z creators and millennials are switching to “dumb phones” on weekends — or permanently — to reclaim their attention.
Have you tried any of these phones ? Would love to hear your experience below.
✨ Why it matters: This isn’t about anti-tech. It’s about conscious tech. And the most ambitious builders are realizing that clarity is the ultimate competitive edge.
💡 Analog Moment of the Week
This weekend, I went to go visit my sister. When I arrived at her house, the power went out due to the storms. Instead of panicking, we played Uno for the rest of the evening and ordered take out.
Analog Challenge for You: Spend an evening playing a card game with someone. No phones. No distractions. Just have fun playing a tactile game with a friend or family member.
Community & Updates
📣 Applications to Analog Social are officially open!
We’re building the first human-scale social platform for ambitious solo founders. Think real-world connection, not followers. I’m launching the beta community soon and I encourage you to apply (especially if you’re in NY/London, those are highest cities with applications currently, so I’ll be able to launch those soon hopefully!)

🎥 New on YouTube
I just launched our brand new YouTube channel. You can now follow along the journey of building analog social and a more healthier world

it’s nearly impossible for me to keep up with DMs, emails, and other outreach (i’m trying to moderate my screen time), so I’m planning on hosting live sessions. We’ll co-work for the first part and then I can answer questions/give a space for you all to connect as well.
If I were to host live sessions, which platform* do you prefer?
*one thing I’ve come to learn is that the people who need Analog Social the most are the ones who are chronically online, so here’s to trying to reach them without losing ourselves in the process.
🪴 Final Thought
In the age of AI, automation, and increasingly more tech, how do we increase human-centered health and holistic well being?
That’s what Analog Weekly is here to explore — every Sunday.
